<Poem>
黃昏獨立佛堂前，
滿地槐花滿樹蟬。
大抵四時心總苦，
就中腸斷是秋天。
<End Poem>
<Translation>
I stand alone
In the yellow glow
Of sunset
Before the holy temple
Of the Buddha.

The huai flowers
Fill the courtyard,
And on the boughs
The cicadas
Sing their even-song.

Each of the four seasons
Brings some sorrow
Into the lives
Of men,
But to an aching heart
The autumn
Is the saddest time
Of all.
